Employer Reviews — Companies and Agencies

Finding reliable work in Europe is not just about skills — it’s about knowing who to trust. This page collects honest notes about companies, recruitment agencies and working conditions based on real experience in the field.

What to Look For in a Good Employer

  • Written contract before travel — always, no exceptions
  • Clear pay structure — gross rate, overtime policy, tax handling
  • Accommodation included or allowance paid — confirm in writing
  • Certificate reimbursement — good employers cover your EN 287 testing
  • Proper PPE provided — helmet, gloves, safety boots on site

Red Flags — Agencies to Avoid

  • No written contract or contract only on arrival
  • Vague answers about the actual rate or deductions
  • Asking you to pay a fee to “secure” the job
  • No information about the end client or work location
  • Promises that sound too good — unusually high rates with zero requirements
  • No contact address or physical office
  • Pressure to decide immediately
